Wiring Coin Door Lights. Need connectors possibly?
« on: October 14, 2006, 12:21:15 pm »
I have the over/under mini door system from Happ.  I was wondering.  I am using the Molex Connector method with some wire connectors.  Those twist on style like you see with a ceiling fan or over head ceiling lights.  I was needing to know though.....On the bulbs themselves.  The ones that come from happ.  Is there a way/connector to use to connect the wire to the bulb.  I have seen in some pictures an insulated style connector.  Could you use like a female quick disconnect connector or something like that.  I really don't want to solder wire to the bulb.

To the bulb itself? Or the socket the bulb goes into? Quick disconnects should be just fine on the socket tabs, hopefully that's what you mean. :)

Mine were very small --- .100 I think?  I know I had to make a special run for new quick disconnects.

42-0351-00 Lamp Holder
From Happ ask Ponyboy. That's where I got mine.
These are sweet and use a standard 161 bulb which is 12v. These bulbs can easily be picked up at an auto parts store.
