Where is the best place to look for Sticky Vinyl. I am looking for the kind with texture. Thanks!

What if one wanted bright red (think Neo-Geo) vinyl? I don't see any there.

Hello!

I think I've seen some users who purchase vinyl from Part Express.

I myself have never used vinyl, although I suspect that part of the cabinet I bought has some by the keyboard drawer. How permanent is it (does it come off too easily)? Does it bubble easily (like my keyboard drawer)? Does it look like melamine/shelving laminate when applied? Pros and cons?

Thanks for any comments!

I used this stuff (I think that's what I bought anyway) for one of my control panels. It looks really nice. Stick it on and don't take it off. Work the bubbles out by hand during application.

Does anyone know where to get smooth black vinyl?

I use the parts express vinyl also.  While I have only built 2 bartop cabs with it, so far so good.  I use it because I simply cant paint.  I think it some sort of genetic defect, not 100% sure.  Its pretty easy to work with and looks fine.

I used the Parts Express stuff on my CP box 3 years ago and it's held up great.  It looks more 'factory' than black paint IMHO.
