Consoles and mame in cabinet
« on: October 11, 2006, 04:48:12 am »
Is there any keyboard/gamepad encoder that can also talk PS2, xbox and possibly dreamcast controller protocols? I dont really want to have to hack controllers and put a multipole switch in to change the active one.

One idea I had was to use a pair of old style playstaion pads and then get PS to xbox, PS to USB and PS to dreamcast adaptors to minimise wiring but it still needs a switch to be in place between them. So really I want to get one encoder that does everything.

X-Arcade and Ultimarc sell console adapters for their encoders.
