I wondered how Kremmit was getting online from the truck.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

Your packages are sitting outside an Internet Cafe in the seedy part of town.

What, you don't have UMTS or GPRS in the US?

What's this "BYOAC" everyone here keeps talking about, and what did it run out of?

Come'on they barely got GSM !!! Some states even seem to be GSM-free like Vermont.... :D In all honesty I had perfect GSM around Boston and NH.

yeah, it's pretty hard to accept that the Europeans set a world-standard this time :D

I was weird to be in the States and see all these phones with ancient antenna's on them :D

And i've seen no-one SMS-ing, I mean.....it's like the stone-age ;) My family probably wondered what the heck I was doing with my phone once in a while :D

Anduhm......I envy you guys who are able to do this during work time....as a service engineeer I'm always on the road, yes I can use GPRS but I need to keep the usage down and I guess my customers wouldn't be very happy.

But it was a horrifying silence, a big black hole in the internet.......what a relief to get up this morning to see it back in good health :D

Everyone at work thought maybe my wife had left me because I was crying all day long.  Little did they know it was much more serious than that.
