Sad thing is, the curved treatment could have been taken advantage of in some way that made it at least somewhat acceptable.

Shame that home-made cabs (however "professionaly"  made) are ruled out of the Ugliest Cab contest (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=55512.0) else this would be a great contender.

In all honesty: I think the uglyness comes mostly from the wayyyyy to small screen hole (like he says himself) and the wrong front color. If it would be black that would already improve things. Then fit it with a real BYOAC CP and then it's actualy not that bad at all.

I kinda like the curve idea, but since it's bending backwards, wouldn't it be uncomfortable to play ?

Interesting.  I swear I saw a jukebox posted with a similar shape (smaller, though) and I think it was also from somewhere down under.  Perhaps that's where the inspiration came from?

As an arcade machine it is ugly as sin, however could be turned into a decent "information / internet kiosk" which is probably its initial incarnation.

Just needs ........
- Larger screen
- Replace the cp with a keyboard and trackball
- Replace the front colour with something brighter like a red or blue
- Add isp's business logo to the lower section
