The coolest Mini-Mame?
« on: October 06, 2006, 04:48:27 pm »
Most of you will have seen my Multi-Williams Bartop or the Donkey Kong build or checked out my signature link.

My friend who prints all my art wanted a machine for his sons but didnt want a standard box.
So I built him this cabinet and he gave me LOADS of free artwork for a while.   :applaud:
I did take photos of the build but the PC I had them got stolen when we were burgled  along with tons of other machine build-ups. Luckily it was only a work PC. PHEW

It has internal 2x2 running side to side. Then a sheet of thin MDF used on the curves and finish nailed and glued in place.
Some internal shelving for the monitor and PC. The Monitor can be removed from the front and there is a curved door on the back. Fancy.

He was going to use it as a Piggy Bank for his kids, hence the marquee, but it now has a credit button on the panel.

Anyway, while getting the Donkey Kong art printed we went to his place and I took a photo.

Is this one of the the coolest MINI-MAMEs yet?

That's pretty sweet.  The art is quite nice, too.  :

Very cool design. Love the curves.

It is for my taste.  The shape is great and adds a ton to the designs we are used to.

Hey spacies, there's a thread in Project Announcements about the "Mission Control" cab.  It's been Pixel Hugger's work in progress for about three years now.

I've seen how quickly you can crank out a cab.  How 'bout you light a fire under him by building a Mission Control replica cab in the next week  ;D
