Nice Williams machines on ebay UK
« on: October 02, 2006, 08:02:22 pm »

This one is for the lucky Poms here :P

Sell your car, the clothes off your back and pimp out your lady friend because someone here has to buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROBOTRON-COCKTAIL_W0QQitemZ260037332432QQihZ016QQcategoryZ3945QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Or this:

That Robotron cocktail looks to be an AWESOME conditon.
So does the Defender but that price is $4,500 NZD so I won't be buying it!

I also saw a NOS Robotron Upright on ebay USA last week (maybe 2). It was brand new and had been stored in a warehouse since the 80s.  It had the original box and reciepts still stuck to it. Anyone know what it went for?

That was a different one!   :o

It is from the same ebay user though.

I know how you feel Level42   :hissy:

What would you do if you owned it? Use it or leave it in the box?

Well I wouldn't have bought the one in the box, but the one you first mentioned looks like new. And yes I'd use it. What the hell were those thing build for, to look at or to beat the sh*t out of them ?  :laugh2:

Seriously, having something like that just for keeps is a waiste IMHO. Carefuly using it would be a dream :D

That defender is WAY over priced though.... And contrary to what he says it has been restored. There was an article on that very machine somewhere (web or magazine I forget where)....
