The level of difficulty was too high for the amount of interest...may revisit in the future, but for now I think it's a dead project.

For now I am moving on with a positional gun cab without the recoil.

I have a question, though that may sound dumb.

If we know how to power the solenoid, but are worried about it being in line with the trigger......couldn't you just wire a second switch to the trigger that JUST powers the solenoid? A completely separate circuit, I mean. If all I was after was a rattle when the trigger was pulled, I would think that it would work, and not be game dependent.

I may be completely missing something here, though, so feel free to school me at will. If you don't flame me, I will never learn. LOL
