Arcade bits 4free - local pickup only (80126)
« on: September 29, 2006, 01:51:24 pm »
What I have is the guts for a Mr. Do arcade I think its this one http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=&game_id=8767
The story is I got it really cheap from some local person I got other cabs from because it doesn't work.  I intend to use the cabinet and I lack the ability to repair the electronics.  All I know is that when you turn the power on you hear the crackle of power to the monitor and the sound cabs make when they power up but nothing is displayed on the monitor and no game music is heard.  Given I have other cabs with a higher priority for fixing Im just getting rid of the guts.  Not to mention it doesn't seem like a game worht playing either :)

So heres what you get.
Pretty much all the electronics. this includes the game board, power board, transformer, power brick and cord, speakers, all other boards (I think there was a small video board as well) the wiring harness and the monitor.  The controls are available for purchase if you want them (since I had intended to re-use) they will be cheap tho since I want this stuff gone!  The coin mechs will not be up for sale, sorry. (it only had 1)  I beleive the marquee is still intact and will be included but only if you take the rest of it, sorry.  You can also have the whole CP as I think the controls are still attached to it(plus the CP graphics are there as well)  This is an all or nothing deal here for anything but the cabinet if someone comes to pick stuff up.  You are also welcome to any mounting hardware for the monitor as well(assuming you take the monitor of course).  B.Y.O.T (Bring Your Own Tools) to remove the monitor, I dont have anyone to help me remove it so it is still in the cab so please bring what you thing you will need to remove it.  You dont have to bring a toolchest or something as I have a decent selection of tools but if you know of any funky things you may need then bring them.

For those wondering 80126 is in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.  I hate to destroy things this old but right now the stuff is just taking up space since it is of no use to me so Im hoping someone will come and get it.  To arrange a pickup jsut send me a PM and I will give you contact info so we can work a time.  Pretty much any times after work (5:30) will work and most times over the weekend.  So again I will NOT ship this stuff, no matter what for risk damaging what may be a simple fix to a monitor that doesnt function.  You're welcome to arrange with other members here to pick it up and ship if you so desire but that is between you and them.

Well there you have it, hopefuly someone has use for this stuff.

Went and double checked, the marquee is the one from the 2nd cabinet shown, however the cab itself was a conversion because the marquee ios the only art that matches, the cab itself is one of those wood laminte things.  Alsom, the markings on the monitor say "C.R.T. TYPE 19VJTP22/19VMAP2"

Oh, "wood paneling"??

If so, then it is a cabaret.  If you get a picture of it up, most of the guys would be able to determine what the cabinet was originally.  If that is something you would like to do.

its not a huge concern for me, however that would answer the question as to the burn in on the monitor, looks like a game of blackjack.  As for what the cab really is Im not too concerned with, I dont intend to rip it apart or anything, will likely keep the wood look too, just some things hav e water damage (mainly toppanel) so I will be replacing that.  But its not in this deal anyways so its a moot point :)  Perhaps Ill post a pic sometime later just to find out what it really is, but given the cab isnt where I am atm that won't happen now.

sooo...no takers? all items mentioned will likely be going to the dumpster soon then, a shame but oh well.
