Game launcher temporarily freezes

I have been experiencing this for some time now, maybe some of you guys have suggestions:

When scrolling through the list of games in gamelauncher, the menu will freeze.  The mp3s will continue to play in the background, but I am unable to move through the list.  The freeze lasts for about 5 seconds and occurs maybe once every 2 to 3 minutes.

Anyone else experiencing this or have a possible remedy?
