Technically, Micro-ATX.

But there are custom MB's out there that go in Cube kits.

There are always the Mini-ITX and Nano-ITX systems:
Mini-ITX tends to be about 6"x6" (http://www.via.com.tw/en/initiatives/spearhead/mini-itx/)
Nano-ITX tends to be about 4.7"x4.7" (http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/nano_itx/epia_n/)

I have just heard something mentioned about a new format called Pico-ITX, but I haven't seen much of anything about that.

It's inside my Mac Mini

:D

I am already anticipating using it in a cab when it's "old-fashioned in about 5 years time" :)

You asked for the smallest......and what's wrong with it being a Mac ?
Runs Windows fine if you really want to.

I suppose the OQO would qualify - it's a full system

Whoa, now that is awesome.  I've been waiting on a pocket system like the Tapwave Zodiac, but with enough processing power for emulation.  Plus you can watch videos/movies.  This thing sounds perfect.

Ever heard of noRh?

I have some of their marble speakers and they are VERY VERY VERY nice.

Anyway, they have a division called noRhtech and they make micro PCs.
I am looking at getting a PANDA from them as my HTPC.

http://www.norh.com/norhtec/

There Microserver GP even has TV out!
Also, look at the bottom of the page and there PDA thingy has what looks like directional controllers which would be awesome as a portable MAME machine!

Prices are really good too. For both Hi-Fi equipment and PCs
