My company wants to buy a Pac-Man machine for an event.
I'm in Lansing, MI. I'm not sure who to contact around here. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Look in your telephone directory Yellow Pages under the following headings:
"Amusement Devices"
"Jukeboxes"
"Vending Machines"
Look in your local newspaper classifieds under "Misc. For Sale"
Check Craig's List for your area on the internet.

tntamusements.com has them or if you want a new one go to namco.com and look for a distributor in your area.

Thanks to both of you. Your information was very helpful. Unfortunately it appears that buying one is not in our budget. Thank you anyway, as I will continue to use these resources in the future.

Buying one may be out of your budget, but RENTING one might not.
Check the same listings in your Yellow pages. Many will rent video games out for events. You won't get a "pacman" but you'll probably be able to get the new "Pac/ms pac/Galaga" combo machine.

Buying a new one will set them back like $3k, won't it? A used, working one won't cost them more than a few hundred.

The point is, on short notice, they are more likely to find a place renting out modern machines than they are to find an original for the same cost as a rental.

Maybe, though I don't know of
any
places that rent them in my area that don't also sell the same cabs.
