X Arcade electronic inside
« on: March 21, 2003, 12:30:01 pm »
By curiosity..what kind of interface does X Arcade use ?
Is it an Ipac ? Is it their own ?

(by the way, would someone by chance have an high resolution picture of the electronic parts of the X Arcade ?)

Thanks,

rampy

they use there own... they sell it separately as well ...

The main reason to use an x-arcade guts is because you were in love with their adapters to different consoles (but others could argue that starting with a psx pad and using those adapters is the key to console cabineting nirvana)

*shrug* I'll see if i cna dig up a pic.

linkage

If you decided to get one =P  *cough* i'm an affiliate  (but that's not why I responded - I just remember the email they sent about the product... I do use x-arcade sticks/buttons but not their encoder - i.e. this isn't an endorsement)

interesting how all of the ICs have their identification sanded off.  kinda bulky too, they should move to surface mount :)
