Did I just blow my power supply???
« on: September 20, 2006, 04:43:25 pm »
Just noticed my trackball light was out.   then while jiggling wires, the PC which was powering the lights (this is an old PC that's pretty much shot--so I'm just using it to power my lights) shut down.

No reset switch or anything.   So did I toast this???   No time to really mess with this at the moment (problems not a big deal now).

Thanks!

yeah sounds like some bad wiring somewhere,pc psu's are pretty good at shutting down during a short to common, check your wires, unplug the psu, leave for 4 mins and repower
