Greetings starfighter
« on: September 12, 2006, 05:58:03 am »
Sorry i didn't see that there is already a topic about this

I've downloaded the "starfighter" (yes the one of the movie) someone has programmed it and is the same that you see in the film also voices that say "..you've been recruited to defend the frontier against xur and the KO Dan armada" are there the controls are even in MAME layout an there is a fake HW checksum at start.
I've found "space paranoids" also very good game but a bit confusing.
Has some1 played it or I'm the only1?

PS I'm planning to built My cabinet with the starfighter shape (except for the controls) .

Someone around here already built one. If you do a search you can probably find it. Had the side art and everything.

Eaviii has the artwork, I'm sure he'll email you a copy. I built a UAII cab a few years ago and made my own Starfiighter art using the limited images available on the net at the time of the cab. They are not as detailed as Eaviii are but look good on a cab.

I also built a skin for Mamewah that resembled the OSD of the Starfighter. If you are interested I'd be willing to share that with you. Rogue Synapse did an awesome job on the game. I was even credited for helping them in the beginning with the artwork before they aquired the cab they have now.

I believe Eaviii was working on measurements of the cab they have so others could build repros of the cab he has.

Good Luck with your build
