Best Monitor
« on: September 11, 2006, 08:53:12 pm »
Hi all,

I am building my first cab and was wondering what the best arcade monitors are.  I am wanting a hybrid monitor that will give an authenic look at multiple resolutions.  Was origainall thinking about a wells gardner, but I have heard some not so nice things about them as of late.  I am wanting a 27" one by the way.  Thanks for any input.

IMHO the billabs arcade monitor is the best choice, having owned the wells gardner and betson in the past I feel it is the best purchase that I have made.  I really like the quality of it plus the 1024x768 gives you enough lines to run vertical games at their native res with an arcade vga card.

FYI: Billabs is a rebranded Wei-Ya monitor.

No, just to let people know that Billabs is a Wei-ya distributor. Better prices can be obtained on Wei-ya through Alva Amusement though.

M826HR     MONITOR 25",WEI-YA STD RES

I built my cab for a 27", but this is pretty close.  Does it come with a chaisis standard?

Hi all,

Since we're on the subject, has anyone heard anything about the new D9400 monitor from WG?
