Ultimarc appreciation thread
« on: September 06, 2006, 04:42:05 pm »
Placed my first ever MAME order a bit ago with Andy.  I couldn't BELIEVE how quick the shipping was from jolly old England - like two days to the heart of Texas!

I also had a few questions before ordering and he always got back to me very quickly.

Overall, a very positive experience!

Thanx, Andy!

My appreciation for Andy and Ultimarc is not only for their speedy service, but Andy himself and his quick response to anyone who ever has a question, no matter how banal or technical.

Beyond that, Andy plays a big part in actually manufacturing alot of the gear he sells.  It's painfully obvious dealing with some other businesses that the sales monkey you are talking to has no idea about the product they are selling to you.  Not the case with Andy - he knows his stuff inside out, and it shows through a quality of product and a quality of service.

On the same topic, I'm an Aussie, so full kudos go to OzStick here in Australia:
http://www.ozstick.com.au/

OzStick is the official Australian reseller for Ultimarc products, and the owner Chris is a chapion.  Like Andy, he's always willing to go that extra mile (well, kilometer here in AU) to make sure his customers are happy.

Andy and Chris, we salute you.

Yep, Andy Rocks!

I'm currently dealing with him with a ipac problem. I have to say that he is handling my case with top notch customer service and help. It was so good, it took me by surprise. He's making me a customer for life!

Andy Rules.

I had some minor problems that he corrected immediately. The thing is though, it's not just the great service. His products are top-notch as well.

Do you get to add a credit for this?

I have to agree with all of you.  Andy is superb.

Just like Texasmame, I live in Texas and received my stuff from Andy in just two days.  ( I ordered some speakers from Dallas three days before I ordered from him and his stuff arrived first! )

I also have to give him kudos on his products too!  They are simple to use, especially for newbs like me!

His stuff is a bit more expensive, but you definitely get your money's worth and more!

Just as it is,
Flip Willie

Andy has helped me out more than once on replacing some defective microswitches on my mag/T-sticks.  Even though the switches failed months after I put the sticks into service, Andy stepped right up and got everything taken care of.  He's also helped me quite a bit on some questions I had with the AVGA2 card.

I'm happy to see this hobby has such good vendors as Ultimarc - you feel like you've got someone you can trust.

Just wanted to jump on the bandwagon and give Andy 2 thumbs way up! I'm in Dallas and I purchased both the i-pac and opti-pac from him and couldn't be more pleased. I'm now helping my next door neighbor build a cab and he ordered an i-pac and it arrived just 1 day after the parts from Happs arrived...and he's over seas!

Thanks Andy!!

If it wasn't for Andy, I'd never have parts to start my unfinished cab project.

Cheers dude.

I'd like to put in a good word for Andy, and Ultimarc, as well.  I've been blown away by his level of service and dedication in working with me to resolve some issues related to the Ultrastik 360, which I've recently purchased.  It's so rare to receive service like this these days, sad as that is to say, but neverthess if you are thinking of buying anything from Ultimarc - DO IT - his service matches the incredible innovation in his products.

It's been a pleasure, and I'll definitely be buying more from Ultimarc in the near future.

Here, Here!

I have bought to date:

I-Pac 2
I-Pac 4
Mini-Pac

Everyone came promptly, with easy to read directions and very user-friendly software.

For those times when I err'ed, Andy was there with a replying e-mail in a matter of minutes!

Two thumbs up!

Purchased an IPAC4. Posted for help and BANG Andy was there for me. As far as I'm concerned everyone else needs to close their doors as this is the ONLY product that needs to be on the market.

Can't agree more with all above. I am In australia and it was cheaper to buy from Andy than through ozstick. The gear arrived in 2 or three days and I have already had a few emails from him to help me out with my lame problems.  If only i could convince the wife to let me buy another machine. Perhaps I will have to start working on my mates.

i wonder what ultimarcs returns policy is........ I would like to keep ordering stuff just for the experiance. If the returns policy was good that is cos I need my nutz.

To date purchased

arcadeVGA-  couldnt rate higher
Jpac - sooooo easy to use i coulnt mess it up if I tried
Ipac4 - i wish I had more stuff I could wire into it
If it ain't broke give it to me...i'll soon fix that
