Online pinball?
« on: September 01, 2006, 07:09:15 pm »
Hi

I am RyKe, a music producer

In promotion of my upcoming mash-up CD 'Ice City' (Mashing 80's Pop/Rock With Modern Rap), I'm looking to create a custom online pinball machine for fans to play on my website (www.myspace.com/icecitycd)

Basically, I want to know if there are any good sites or software that I could use to use my logos and promo CD pics to basically insert into a pinball template.

It's hard for me to explain what I'm looking for, but if anyone understands and can help, your suggestions would be much appreciated!

Ah, hrmm, just noticed you want it to be something you can play on-line. VP is an offline emulator, sorry about that.

But that's a link in that post if you want to check it out, anyway.

Oh ok, thanks anyway

Any other places you know of that I can create a online game in general just by basically changing codes so logos on the game are customized ones?

Your best bet is to contact a game developer and have them make one for you. You can find them at places like gamasutra.com and garagegames.com

Your next best bet would be to just find a place that lets folks play games online (none come to  mind at the moment, but I know they're out there) and contact them for advertising on their site.

Thanks for the suggestions...I'll look into it

I really wish there was a basic site where all you would have to do is paste image locations and it would instantly customize an online game machine with your logos...

Oh well...

It seems to me that someone would want to get some cash for such a service. You know what they say: TANSTAAFL.  ;)
