Mini-PAC USB / PS/2 Question
« on: September 01, 2006, 06:49:56 am »
I just purchased a Mini-PAC with the USB cable and realized that I would rather hook it up via the PS/2 port (motherboard has some weird USB issues).  Can I simply buy a USB to PS/2 converter plug to hook it up or do I need the special PS/2 cable from Ultimarc?

All you need is a standard male-to-male PS/2 cable as sold for use with switch boxes etc. Note trackball/spinner are not supported in PS/2 mode.

Thanks Andy!  Do you think the converter I mentioned above would also work?

If the converter is a simple plug adaptor it will work. Any kind of active converter with circuitry in a module will not work properly.
