IPAC-2 USB or PS/2?
« on: September 01, 2006, 12:52:56 am »
It seems an academic issue, but I wondered if anyone has problems with the usb version, owing to the nature of usb items? If ps/2 is more reliable I could personally care less of course. Thanks in advance.

I believe the USB is actually better, because it is not limited by possible PS/2 simulataneous keypress limitations.

No, I think all (PS2/USB) the Ipacs avoid the mutiple key-press issue. Even if you hit loads of keys, its all handled by the Ipac's controller before its sent via PS2/USB, so I imagine the onboard code will seperate multiple key-presses. Back when everyone did keyboard hacks this was a big selling point of the ipacs....
