i just bought a switch to power on my cab it is rated a 25a and 12vdc is this
correct if not what is the recommend amp and volt ratio?

sometimes you have to wait more then 2 hours for an answer. give it a day and let people who might know the answer a chance to see this thread.

If this is going to be a inline power switch between the wall and power supply, you are going to need a switch rated for AC, or find out what the switch you have is rated for AC.

has that switch got a led inside,standard mains switches i use are rated 15amp 240v a/c-but im in europe so i would imagine 15amp 120 v a/c for the states

that switch does have a led, it is rated 10a 125v ac...i dont think that would be enough..
im sorry i wasnt more specific it for the power to power on the receptical for the moniter,pc and marquee lightss

10 amp seems a little on the low side to me, but you might be OK, really depends on the computer and monitor you have in there, I guess.
