GroovyGameGear.com Appreciation Thread
« on: August 23, 2006, 06:39:51 pm »
Last Saturday, I ordered a set of pushbuttons for my MAME and Mortal Kombat cabinets and a pair of control panel clamps from GGG. It shipped out Monday, and arrived today. Packaging was very well done, everything cushioned and bagged, nothing missing.

The only thing that could have made the order process better would have been to find a $100 bill in the box.  ;D

I'll *definitely* do business with GGG again. Highly recommended. If you need some parts, try 'em out.

Another positive response. I ordered 4 joysticks from GGG that arrived a lot quicker than expected (delivered to my door in Australia 2 days after ordering). Would definately use again.

Randy iz thu MAN!!!

WOOT even.

I have ordered oodles of stuff from him and it is all quality, well packaged, well documented, and the web site is great to get all the documents you lost under the heap of rubble I created while building my cabinet. The only glitch for me was 1 little LED was a dud. But hey, I can live with that.

On the other hand, perhaps we should be cursing him for making cool stuff that we fell necessary for our cabs. I was broke for like 3 months straight because of him.  ;)

hey jfh2112, what kind of control panel clamps does GGG sell? They don't have any images of them on the site.

These'uns. They don't quite look like the ones @ Happ Controls, but then, they don't really have a picture either.  ;D

Those are the same things that Happs sells. Well, at least, they're the same ones you get when you order them from Divemaster.

I wouldn't have blown my budget so quickly if it weren't for Randy and his Electric Ice buttons and RGB LEDs and every single gizmo on his site that I feel I need 'three of'.  Of course, all shipped quickly!  He even helped me fix a stupid mistake I made with an order.  Thanks Randy!

...now when are those new 49-ways coming out?   ;)

I had a great experience with GGG. Their T-molding is super cheap and it is the same stuff that T-molding.com sells.

GPWIZ came in on Xmas eve

some times I have a hard time on email responces but nothing to worry about
maybe he is just busy?
I have lost the instructions to my GPwiz but I figured it out.

He also worked with me on money order.  allways a big PLUS here

Nothing but good to say about GGG. Randy has always answered all my questions about his products. Products are so easy to use with Randy's explanations that even an idiot like me can use em.
Last item I ordered got lost in the mail. Randy handled it like a pro...got my product soon after notifying Randy.

I have 3 cabinets planned and a good portion of the parts will come from GGG.

just wanted to add my appreciation too. Ordered a ledwiz, buttons and leds. If anyone from the uk has any doubts about ordering stuff from abroad they can relax - take a look at randys stuff at ggg and order with confidence !

Best wishes to ggg,

Thanks for all of the positive comments, guys.  I made sure Lisa read them all as well so she also knows how much her hard work is appreciated.

And MYX, drop me an email with the color of that dud LED so I can send you a replacement!
