hi hows it going i have recently purchased a ipac2 it is very nice. I'm having some difficulty getting it going. I have set up all the connections and have placed the red/black wire with prongs into the chip to get power to the joystick. Then i tried putting the keyboard into the ps/2 slot. Also i placed the cord i recieved with the ipac into the other ps2 slot this one is close to the ground slot and the prongs for the joysticks power. That chord then went into my usb slot. Then i loaded the cd rom and did the setup.exe and got the winipac loaded. but when i loaded my computer which is windows xp it says invalid usb plugged in .. So i tried taking the usb off and using the ps2. when i went to the configeration it would not recognize it when it was on usb or ps2. So to make a long story short there are 2 ps2 slots which takews keyboard and which takes computer plug? also is that all thats needed i saw drivers and ati stuff but none seemed to be any help.Any help will be great!
thanks,
Steve

Try this, make sure your computer is off, Make sure the Ipac jumper is set to usb, connect everything, turn on your computer, and see what happens....

If you are having usb troubles then do the same for the ps2 connector.
Make sure a regular ps2 keyboard works then shut off the pc and connect the cable from the port labeled PC on the Ipac to the keyboard port on the pc. Move the jumper from usb to ps2 on the ipac and boot up.
If it still doesn't work you probably have a bad ipac but I would check with Andy for further troubleshooting.
The port that says kbd is to plug your keyboard into.
You don't need any drivers.
Once you get this to work you can try putting the usb adapter back on the cable, moving the jumper back to usb and powering the pc up again.
If ps2 works but not usb then your problem is most likely with your pc. Maybe a bad driver or bad hardware. Try testing on another pc.

Its setup in ps/2 mode by default. Change the jumper to USB mode.
And read the directions on the web site!!

I'm not sure about this, but you might also have to have USB keyboard enabled in your BIOS.
