Is there an N64 adapter to use a psx controller?
« on: August 22, 2006, 10:44:50 pm »
Anyone know of any that will let you use a psone controller on an N64?  Also, anyone know a good place to pick up a DC version as well?
Thanks in advance

There have been PS1-to-N64 adapters, but I haven't seen them in a while.  Lik-sang may have had them.  Not sure if they're easy to get these days.

This company used to carry them, http://www.tototek.com/, but after looking at their website, it looks like they don't anymore. You may want to send them and email.

You can find a dreamcast one on Ebay. As long as you use an official Sony controller, most of them work very well.

Anyway, are you crazy?  The N64 controller is light years better than the PSX controller.  That is, if light years can even be used as a measurement of better/worse.

It can, and they are.

The thing is, I'm going to hack a psx controller since pretty much most recent systems have adapters for them.  I want an N64 adapter to play NBA Hangtime and a couple other arcade games on that system
