GGG Trackbal Booster Kit Sizes
« on: August 17, 2006, 01:55:42 am »
Can anybody who has the GGG Trackball Booster Kit tell me what the diameter of the wheel is and what the diameter of the shaft is ?

For anyone interested: I'd like to see if it's possible to use it on a 2.25" Suzo Trackball. The diameters I measured are 1.5" for the wheel and 1/4" for the shaft.

The diameter is about 1.46".  The center hole of the encoder wheel is clearanced for a #4-40 machine screw.  It is designed to bolt onto a stock encoder shaft.

OK, so that's different from the Suzo then, that wheel simply shifts over the shaft and that's it. So there's a small "tube" on the wheel to make this possible, I bet your wheels are totaly flat right ?

Don't think they will be useable on a Suzo then, at least not without some work...
