CP Question
« on: August 15, 2006, 02:53:57 am »
I only want 2 player CP since its my first time...but...I love Smash TV and Robotron.
Is it possible to play 2 player on these games using the buttons for the second stick? Like the arrow keys?

Why not just put in two joysticks for each player?

And there is no two-player Robotron, at least not that I know of.
$6.75 the hard way-one quarter at a time.

The buttons work pretty decent as a second joystick (depending on their layout).  If you have a decent amount of space, you can add the second joystick to the right.  Just be careful of panel clutter (i.e. : avoid adding other 'dedicated' sticks) - otherwise it'll start looking like a plastic forest.

Total Carnage! Thats it! Thanks!

Yeah that was my worry...Especially since this is my first experience with wiring or anything, I dont want to have 4 million switches to wire up. I also want a clean, sleek, unclustered panel, which makes me wary of adding 2 extra sticks (an extra 8 switches to wire) just for two games...

Unless you _love_ karate champ, crazy climber 2, or Smsh TV I wouldn't put 2 joysticks on each player.  If you get that far, you might as well throw 3 more buttons on each end and make it a 4p cab.  of course if it's not wide enough things get awfully cozy quick...
