Hello,
The software looks cool, but I can't navigate the website.  None of the screenshots or demo videos are working.  The screenshots take me to an error page and the demos do nothing.  Am I crazy? :banghead:

Nice looking software but thoose windows scroll bars on the track selection make it impossible to use on a touchscreen. Have you thought of replacing thoose with something else. also you could do with upping the font size in thoose list boxes too.

Your flash presentation says Welcome to V3 but then every time you mention it you call it V2 Confused  ???

Gaurenteed to be drunk proof, man i loved that  :laugh2:

Am i being dumb or is there no demo available?

The big round up and down buttons are to scoll up and down. The scroll bars still appear (it's a windows thing)

Yes lol! It is drunk proof. In other words people with too much to drink can use this it is so simple.

We are using some demo stuff from our Aussie website that has an Australian version we call v3.

best wishes

Hey, again.

A Previos user/developer here, have allready tried to promote this software, wich is about half year (or so) ago. Since he tried this was the a best software and based all of us, he simply got banned. He simply forgot there are other in the forum, and tried to promote a pro software is best (wich is of course not, it a user choose).

I do not want to link that thread again (the user name was jukeboxpro and a other one wich also got banned).

VMJ is the post popular commiciel here, even it got fall in respect in the past. Im asume the new v9 of this software can bring it back again. When VMJ in mind, you may bring it back on focus with this software (wichout trying to bash all of us).

Good luck.

Well it's a windows thing because you are using listboxes with scroll buttons enabled, your search results may be list view looking at it. You would be better moving away from these and holding everything in an array then displaying the results on screen using labels maybe. To be honest your skins really look good but the windows controls showing really let it down, have you disabled the click in the list box?

Also as space fractal mentioned it i think if commercial software (Stuff you have to pay for) is going to pimped on the boards here i think there should at least be a demo to download. For all i am not a fan of VMJ they do at least have a demo application (Which doesn't work on my system LOL).

We're a tough crowd.  :)

Minor point of confusion: In some places the product name appears to be JukeboxPro, and in others it's Eliminator V2.  Which one is the actual name, in case it gets added to the Wiki?

There is no demo available and us Australian users can't purchase the $19 version. Believe it or not, we have to pay $715 ( http://www.hothits.com.au/mrbruce/ ) for the same software????? He says this is due to copyright issues  ???

Jukeboxpro trades in Australia as "Hot Hits" and used to sell complete jukeboxes ( http://www.hothits.com.au/jukebox.html ) but now they only sell the software after a split with the manufacturer. There was another Aussie company (Toulsoft) that sold commercial jukebox software and jukeboxes, but it went under last year.

No demo.. It is the ful version that you need a serial number form.

What is it with people breaking copyrights in their software and geting away with it scott free. Firs i noticed VMJ was using a supplied demo application as their skintool for the visualizations. Now i see that this jukebox eliminator has a microsoft screensaver bundled with it. I Bet both authors would be pretty upset if i bundled complete versions of thier software with my application.  ::)

Maybe that's why it's $715 because of the royalties on that screensave they have to pay micro$oft  ;)

It look like very unproffesionel (pro seen only to change the software?) method of market this software (it nothing to say the software itself is bad, wich I will not comment).

No one would register with no demo, or trying to have a demo, but it a full version.

715$ is also a very insane priceclass for a software, and they say only (yes it 2 prices on that austalien page)? It very unproffesionel marketing.

Why do also use MS screensaver, and not just start a screensaver of chooise?

The MSI is dated 2004, and from the feel of the software it really does seem like it is 2 years old.

Here a couple of suggestions if you are still working on this software.

Drop the windows list boxes, they look unprofessional and are not usable on a touchscreen.

Change the onscreen keyboard to a qwerty one, the one you have doesn't feel right to use.

Don't for the use to have albums in the same directory as the application (This might have been an error on my part.)
