does anybody happen to know the exact dimesnions of this machine? I am thinking of buying one, but the hallway to my room and the door to the room itself are rather small.  :-\

Widen the hallway. Rip out the door. Where's the problem?? We're talking about arcades here!

heh. At the most Id get an extra inch out of the hallway, and thatd cost like  a grand or two. One side of the hallway is the wall against a bathroom, and the other side is to the furnace which helps vent toxic gas.  The doors not so big a problem, but the thing thats driving me crazy is The hallway may just barely be big enough. I need like an exact measurement, cause were talking about centimeters making the difference

I dont' have an exact answer, but you may find the measurements on an original arcade flyer for the 4 slot neo geo system...

(sorry no link atm - google search in the meantime arcade flyer archive or the like)

Just so you aren't dissapointed/stuck later.. are you sure the cabinet you are thinking of getting is a "true" dedicated neo geo 4 slot and NOT a conversion? Just a thought.

good luck,

rampy

If I get to it later i'll search for a neo geo 4 slot flyer... but it's quitting time at the moment.

yeah. The distributor assured me it was an original cabinet with reconditioned buttons and other things that needed replacing

youd think a question this simple would be easy to answer, but 99% of the listings for cabinets online involve either a mame cabinet or restoring something older like a pac-man cabinet

incase anybody cares, I went and measured one myself at an arcade and got the measurements. 25 1/2" across. At first I thought I measured a 19" monitor model, but then my brain reminded me that monitors are not measured horizontaly  ;D
