WTB - pair of red balltop 8way joysticks
« on: August 11, 2006, 12:30:32 pm »

I need two red balltop 8 way joysticks (competition or super).  New or used, as long as in good physical condition.  Small blemishes are OK.  Leaf or microswitch, doesn't matter.

Let me know how much you want for them, with shipping, to 08540.

Thanks,
-Rudi

Just an FYI, the competition and super joysticks are ONLY microswitch, and do not have balltops standard.  You'd need to buy 3rd party shafts if you wanted balltops.

you could get a Ms Pac Reunion stick if you want a Happ stick (but that's 4way), or you'll want one of the various other balltops available.

just don't keep saying super or comps, because you won't easily find balltops that way.
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

Thanks for the FYI.  Really I just need a pair of decent 8way balltops.  The rest is secondary.  I thought of the reunions, but since they are only 4ways I dismissed them.

What about a pair of Ultimarc j-stiks?

http://www.ultimarc.com/controls.html

They are pretty cheap, available in bat or ball top, and switch from 4-way to 8-way easily.  These seem to fit the bill for you.

While I normally buy quality, such as the J-stik, I need inexpensive for this specific project.  Well, not just inexpensive, I need downright cheap.  I was looking at $15 to $20 total, with shipping, for the two.  The J-stiks are $16 each plus shipping.

I think I've got something for ya.

I have no idea what they are.  They feel solid.  They need a little TLC.  They would need to be mounted in a metal panel or else top mounted or undermounted in a recess.

Don't quote me on this, but I think those are Suzo's. I have some white ones that look just like those.

I'm pretty sure they are Suzos, I have 4 of those in a John Elway Team Quarterback - 2 red and 2 black.
