Im looking for a db15 connector like this for my new project where Im using a xarcade do it yourself kit.

I don't know if you know this but I'm sort of a big deal. I own many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Most electronics stores sell them. Jameco have them
here
, but Radioshack should also have them.

sorry, I should have called this post does anyone know where I can get this metal plate surrounding this connector. At first I thought they were made as one piece.

just to point something out, the x-arcade uses a 9-pin serial cable for its connections
unless you are doing something completely different

's joysticks any idea what he is doing with db15 connector? I just assumed it was a x arcade. Im trying to decide what the best way to build a joystick for multiple consoles and the xarcade seemed like the way to go. I thought he was doing the same.
