Happ Trackball w/ Opti-Wiz Software Help
« on: August 09, 2006, 01:40:23 am »
:banghead: ok, here is my setup.  I have a Happ Trackball with an Opti-Wiz and I'm running AdvanceMame in DOS.  I know I have the Opti-Wiz interfaced correctly because when I boot into Windows 98 the trackball works fine to control the mouse pointer and all three buttons operate too.  Furthermore, in my autoexec I have the cutemouse driver listed.  When I fire up Golden Tee Golf with a plain jane Optical Microsoft Mouse everything works fine.  However, when I fire it up with the Opti-Wiz and trackball the game does not play a full speed and the trackball outputs some weird button keypresses.  ie; it likes to rotate the playfield either right or left.  I don't see how the opti-wiz can work in windows and not in advancemame.  Am I missing something obvious here?  Any help would be appreciated. -Jarrett
