Happ Trackball & Tubro Twist

Well I finally got around to installing my turbo twist and happ trackball last night. 

The trackball has a 6 pin molex on the end.  I needed to go to the 10 pin header on the tubrotwist so I built myself a cable using a usb connector (z axis were left with no connection) and a 6pin molex on the trackball side.  I used the happ pin out located here http://ultimarc.com/optipac3.html, and matched everything up to the labels on the header on the turbotwist.

When I boot up into windows only the X axis works. The spinner also scrolls as the z axis, but nothing from the y at all.  I checked the solder on the TT the Z pins have the solder on them.  The encoder wheels on the trackball both spin when you move the ball.  Ive tried about every combination moving the molex connectors around (so that x1 goes to y1 ect. ect.) and i can reverse the x axis (left = right) but nothing from the y ever.


Does anyone have any ideas???  Are my pinouts incorrect?  Bad trackball??

Try swapping the X axis from the trackball to the Y axis inputs on the TurboTwist.

If you get Y movement, then the trackball may have a problem with one of the sensors, or the wiring is incorrect.
