Wico trackball with OptiPAC question
« on: March 14, 2003, 12:43:45 am »
I did a search of the forum, but couldn't find any info. I'm planning on ordering the 2 1/4" Wico trackball to hook up to an OptiPAC. I can get the trackball in "active high" or "active low". I'm 95% certain that the OptiPAC can handle either one. So does it matter? Should I just flip a coin? Is there any reason to prefer one style of optics over another?

FWIW, IIRC, all the 3" models (wico, happ, & betson) are now active low.  (They're either all high or all low.)

However, the OptiPAC can do high or low, so if you're going to use that, there's not much difference.
