May of fried the Trackball....
« on: August 04, 2006, 08:56:52 pm »
Hello all, long time, no post...

Recently we had a thunderstorm here in Atlanta, and some lightning struck near our house.

All said and done, the next day, my arcade was dead...... :-[

After trial and error, I found it was the motherboard, and replaced it to great success. And everything works as it did before........almost....

My Happs 3" trackball doesnt respond anymore, after MORE trial and error, I can get the PC to detect it again, but it says: "Device not recognized" and "There are no drivers installed for this device"

Hmm...

What do you guys think? Fried? Or maybe memory cleared?

Thanks in advance!
