it's a type of sega arcade hardware.....  ???

Games like Super Monkey Ball, Out Trigger, Project Justice, Capcom vs SNK 2, Ikaruga, VIrtua Fighter 4, and many other games were based on this hardware.

I am trying to turn a Virtua (Dynamic) Golf control panl into an Out Trigger CP.

here's my golf setup just so you can see what I am looking at.....which is my Golf setup.

If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, you can see the control panel I am trying to make:

http://www.coinopexpress.com/products/pcbs/naomi_i___ii_rom_board/Out_Trigger_kit_239.html

I have an extra one of the golf control panels, but it's missing the track ball. I want to turn it to the one at the bottom of the page in that link...

Hope that clears things up a bit.

Just out of curiosity, how are you running that? Is that a PC mame set-up or is that the actual arcade hardware?

Is that a 2 1/4" trackball on your golf panel?

Take a shot fo the underside of the trackball for us and we may be able to help more.  I'm not really sure about the postitive/negative thing, but a pic of the trackball you need would help.

I didn't know Sega actually made trackballs honestly, but I'm not a Naomi owner so it's possible.  My guess though is that it's probably a betson under there or similar.  I could be totally wrong though, that's why I say post a pic.

I have just a regular 3" happs trackball (the actual ball is white).  Is that what you are after?  I haven't had a chance to use it in a project yet, and I'm sure my wife would love it if I sold some of the arcade parts I have laying around.  Not sure how much you're looking to spend.

I saw a brand new 2 1/4" trackball for $47 shipped and that was my last resort.

With that in mind, what do you want for it?.
