Okay sounds weird but I just thought of it at Lowes...........
Has anyone tried to buy regular plexiglass and use car window tint film to tint the plexiglass? Will it work w/ lightguns? Does it look good?

There was a thread on this about a week ago. To answer your three questions:
yes, yes, if you apply it properly

I've heard that tint will bubble on plexiglass if you keep it in a really hot location or exposed to sunlight. I used automotive tint on a glass bezel with no problem. I might also be trying 20% auto tint on a plexi bezel as a temporary measure if I can't find a local glass shop with tinted plexi.

you can but with all the work...I think just buying smoked plexi looks better and at the glass shop it was no more expensive than clear plexi.
Stay away from the cheap tints if you tint. They will turn purple over time when exposed to heat. Also that one piece of dirt that got in your tint will be staring at you the whole time while your trying to play the game. Like some sort of dead pixel or something. I say dont tint. Buy another piece of smoked.
