Never saw this before:

Probably just a regular joystick in Tron shape. The roll-up cord is a very nice idea !

Yup.  Came with one of the TRON Atari games.  It is a translucent blue TRON topped version of some company's regular trigger stick that also had the retractable cord.

I bought one a while back, and still need to fix it... only the up and left directions worked :(

Got one NIB a few years back for 10 bucks hoping to hack for MAME CP...
The range of motion is pretty darn limited, so I kept it completely original.  Never had an Atari system before; are all the joysticks this cheap feeling? Used a little NOVUS, and it was nearly as pretty as a real Tron joy(albeit smaller and a darker blue)  I ended up buying and restoring a real Tron anyway soon after. ;D
It doesn't matter if you win or lose....it's how you play the videogame.
