Where can I find an Atari Star Wars yoke rebuild kit?
« on: July 16, 2006, 09:20:10 pm »
Hi All,
I just got an original Star Wars upright about a month or so ago and I've been working on restoring it.  I'm looking to rebuild the flight yoke controller (new gears, bumpers, thumb switches, etc.).  A while ago there was someone on eBay selling a kit that included a new metal gear, plastic gear, bumpers, thumb buttons, etc for around $50.  Does anyone know where I could find something like that now?  So far all I have really found are the thumb triggers.
Thanks.

That ebay seller was probably Vectorbeamsundance- he has stuff like that for sale every so often.

But the guys at www.ramcontrols.com say they have some of those parts available right now, and the rest on the way.  The parts aren't in their webstore yet, so I'd email them to see what you can get.

Thanks Kremmit, I'll check it out and drop them an email.

Also, I posted some pics of the game here:
