G'day fellow Aussie,

I buy my parts locally, I live in Adelaide, but if you want to buy online there are quite a few sites I have come across on the net including these.

240 Amusements
 http://www.240.com.au/
Bumper Action Amusements
 http://www.bumper.com.au/flash.htm
Filtek Australia
 http://www.arcadegames.net/
Highway
 http://www.highway.net.au/parts.html
OzStick
 http://home.iprimus.com.au/ozstick/
Zax Amusement Machines.
 http://www.zax.com.au/

The following web page has plenty of Australian links listed on it.

Good luck.

Cool, some more Aussies on the board.  I live in Perth and found that importing all the parts from overseas worked out better for me.

I got the majority of parts from bob roberts
http://www.therealbobroberts.com
Got some optical rotaries from happs in the US
http://www.happcontrols.com
IPAC and Optipac from ultimarc
http://www.ultimarc.com you can get these from OzStick as well.

When I purchased my parts I found that due to the quantities it was cheaper to get them from overseas than from the eastern states.  I got buttons for US$1.45 (about AU$2.60) with microswitches instead of AU$4.40 at Ozstick or AU$2.95 at Highway without microswitches and sometimes nuts.

Cheers

Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy!
Oi Oi Oi!

Sorry, dunno exactly where to get parts from, mine just kinda fell from the sky, but I just gotta say G'day to me fellow Aussie's. I'm from Bunno, but livin' in Perth now. Have all the parts to build an arcade, but no time to do it in - between UNI and DRINKING!

Ahh....

I remember the days at Uni, lots of drinking not much studying.  The UWA Engineers had a good reputation for drinking alot, especially when we were getting cheap jugs at the pub (about $3).  Those were good times.  ;D

Nice to see a fellow Perthite getting into arcade.  It's quite sad looking at the timezones and orbit in town all to see the same games, all new on big 50" screens, no dedicated cabs anymore.  Rasher, if you get a chance head up to Hilary's Boat Harbour, there's a little arcade up there that has about 15-20 old games.  I had fun there last time I went.

Cheers

All the arcades are going for quick-adrenalin-fix games nowdays. All these games with wacky controls like jetskii's or dance pads (have you ever seen somebody play one of those dance games? I mean, what the...?). The days of the good old joystick/button combo are slowly dying out my friend! I might just have to check out that boat harbour.
