Has anyone disassembled a topfire joysick?
« on: July 04, 2006, 12:08:14 am »
I want to switch the actuator on my topfire joystick but it seems the plunger that is attached to the push button is all one piece. Is there a way to get this apart? Anyone ever fiddle with these?

If the plunger is part#95-0730-00, then "yes". I just pulled it off on mine (pull in the opposite direction of the button).

Took me about one frustated hour of messing with it, researching it in vain till I simply yanked it off. And yes, that piece fit snugly back in later.

Just to be clear, below is the joystick I am referring to. Groovy Game Gear's topfire is different from what I've read.
