J-Stik Model Number
« on: July 03, 2006, 09:58:58 pm »
Does anyone have a J-Stik handy so you can tell me what Sanwa Model it is?  I want to get a "black" ball top version which Andy at Ultimarc does not sell.  I found black ball top Sanwa sticks at "Lizard Lick Amusements" but he has several different models that essentially look the same except for the price.  Would like to get the same version as Ultimarc sells.  Thanks.

Anyone buy from these guys before?

I looked a little closer at the different versions they sell and I think I figured it out (the $19.95 version) by looking at the restrictor plate in the photos.  I guess I need to look a little closer before posting.

Well my question about Lizard Lick Amusements still stands.  Anyone out there have any experience with them?  I'm just happy to find the "J-Stik" with a black ball top.  If anyone has any additional venders to consider for this joystick let me know.  Thanks again.

I was planning to buy 1 from the following http://www.himuragames.com/home.phpas they have them available in blue. Although, I still trying to find the correct model # for the J-stick as well...
My old user name was marlborroman13, but I kicked the habit many years ago!

By running its area code Lizard Lick Amusements appears to be located in North Carolina.  As far as I can tell the $19.95 version is the same one Ultimarc sells, the $24.95 version has a "more options mounting plate, while the $29.95 one looks prewired.  Also, the restrictor plate looks a little different on the $24 and $29 version.  Will give them a try after the July 4th holiday unless I hear of a reason why I shouldn't.

Ultimarc J - stick is sanwa JLW
4way mode in JLF acts bad, diagonals be recorded :censored:. but has better microswitches. If you will play only in 8-way mode, buy JLF.

you have added cable (5$) restrictor is the same :P.

I cannot remember exactly what I purchased from Lizard Lick, but the transaction was smooth.
