Hello,

I am thinking of starting a wall mounted jukebox for my house.  I currently have nothing set in stone except that I have a 17" non-touch screen LCD to use for it.  I would love to integrate XM/Sirius if possible.  I also think it would be "nifty" to integrate it with my iTunes databse (ie, if I download a new song on the jukebox, i could sync it with my ipod.)  I like the look of the wall-mount at http://www.mameroom.com/vjplans_info.asp but don't want to pay for plans...i mean i think they are probably worth it, but i could probably do that without the plans.  Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Scrap it all and go touchscreen, it's 10x cooler than using buttons and has a far greater wow factor.

It depend with software that being been used.

Touchscreen is not allways better than buttons. It very depend on the used software....

Here is what I added to my 17" Flatscreen LCD monitor http://www.magictouch.com/addon.html If you search around on the web you can find one for around $159.00, instaed of the brackets on top to hold it on (looks pretty bad) I just went to Home Depot and got some industrial velcro and velcroed it on, can hardly tell that it has an added touchscreen.

I have used the magic touch add-on screens on a friends unit and I agree they are brilliant. Love the idea with the velcro.

Went to my local Bunnings hardware and did the same for my friends juke. Loves it.

I was lucky enough to score a used touch monitor from a refit at the local supermarket. Works a treat!

Which touch screen juke app have you decided to run with?

I am using Nordbeats jukebox and I am very happy with the results (skins, size of touch buttons, album art display, and overall engine)

Might be worth a look for yourself?

Wow..now that is an idea!  Since I have already sunk $200+ into an LCD, I can sink another $200 and have a touchscreen.  Any drawbacks to this method?  Also, any software incorporate Sirius into it??  Would love to have a 1 stop wall-mounted jukebox for all my music...
