Has anyone not had a good experience with them? The reason I ask is because people seem satisfied here, but in the rec.games.video.arcade.collecting newsgroup, they're pretty much regarded as inkjet printed crap
And then there is the confusion about arcadegrafix.com and Classic Arcade Grafix (that persisted longer than it should have).
The term "inkjet" conjures up images of a guy running stuff through his little HP photo printer. I doubt that is the case (and I attribute the label to folks in RGVAC, not to TOK)
From what I read in Gameroom a few months back, their repros are tough and durable and geared for small runs. They tried to license artwork from Gottlieb, but Gottlieb's requirements for quality (e.g. silk screening on glass or wood) were too expensive. I would not expect the quality to match NOS artwork ... in fact, the owner has said that they get dealers submitting NOS artwork for repro because it is too valuable to put on a game. (I bet they have it repro'd by CAG, then sell the NOS on eBay to guys from RGVAC).
And there is the fact that a lot of the RGVAC guys are like the RGP guys ... perfect and original or nothing at all.
Cheers.
