Help name that game

Checking to see if anyone here could help me out i m looking for the name of a game i used to play as a kid it came out in the mid to late 80's i think before mortal combat and street fighter it was a fighter type game were one of the characters could use chain saws and cut the other guys arms off. can someone tell me the name of that game please.

Can you be a bit more specific? DO you remember the settings (i.e. fantasy, futuristic) and the size of the cab, colors anything? In the mid-80's there weren't that many ultra violent games (splatterhouse, conan the barbarian are a couple that come to mind...)

I loved that game. I almost bought a Genesis way back in the day, so that I could play it more.

I had that at a local Hills for a while. I used Thugg and just hammered the punch buttons. As soon as you mentioned the chainsaw, I was all over that one...too bad somebody beat me to it.
