FS: SANWA JLHS-8Y FLASH1 *BRAND NEW*
« on: June 25, 2006, 01:42:59 pm »
Hey everyone, I'm posting this for a friend who doesn't have access to the Trading Forums here.  He goes by TheRealNeoGeo on SRK and various other forums.  He's a great guy is the one who started/owns Akihabara Shop (http://akihabarashop.com/index.html) which is a worldwide provider of Sanwa/Seimitsu parts and special orders.  He's a great great guy and is offering something that you won't find ANYWHERE anymore.  The following is a direct quote for what he wanted me to post.

"Selling my last brand new (never removed from baggy) Sanwa Flash-joystick. It is complete with everything (obviously).
I will throw in a new pink meshball for free aswell.

Included with this joystick is 5-pin cable, 3-pin cable (for +5V), both square and octagonal-plate, levercover and dustcovers, sticker and instructions.

Please contact me on:
order@akihabarashop.com

This is what a flash 1 looks like out of the baggy (mine is still in bag):

startprice: 100us$ please"

Please contact him if you have interest.  He is located in Sweden so be aware of shipping costs being higher than normal.  Thanks for looking!

Just as an aside, TheRealNeoGeo has also started a petition to try and get Sanwa to start regularly producing Flash1 joysticks once again.  Please help the cause to bring back this amazing optical joystick that was discontinued in 2003.

For that price, you should sell it over at SRK(shoryuken). I'm sure alot of members over there, are all hard up for one of those sticks.

TheRealNeoGeo has posted it on SRK, but just to spread it to some other forums he asked me to do this.  I remember seeing people looking for Flash1 a while back.

SNAAKE, he's been a little busy but I'm sure he'll respond.  He's more responsive to the e-mail address I posted.  Shipping from Sweden to US takes around 7-10 business days for east coast with standard air-mail.  If you ask him to do EMS he would but it would obviously be more expensive and would be around 3-5 business days to anywhere in the US.  Hopefully he'll get back to you.  I'll tell him to check his PMs next time I talk to him.  Just as an FYI he just traded one for a brand new DS Lite plus shipping so I wouldn't expect you to get one for $130+shipping.
