Front end software for internet radio?
« on: June 21, 2006, 10:29:11 pm »
Hey guys,

Does anyone know if there's any front end jukebox software (or otherwise) which supports internet radio streams? I am currently using SK Jukebox and it's great, except for no net radio support (and there's no intention for that addition).

That lists the majority of the jukebox software out there. I think Space Fractals Arcade Jukebox suppports internet radio.

Yep, Arcade Music Box support Netradios (ogg, mp3 and wma streams should all work). Some streams may need to been played in a webpage, wich AMB also support (as a hidden webpage), using URL files.

Sk-Jukebox  is a simple, but very very effective application (but it could maybe do a bit more in the technical part).
Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.

I hacked together a softsqueeze (http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net/index.html) skin and connected it to a slimserver (http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_features.html) a while ago but have no idea what I did with the prototype.   I do remember it working though.   I used ArcadeEPIC a a menu between SK and the softsqueeze.   Worked pretty well.
