Anyone used a Logitech Attack 3?
« on: June 20, 2006, 05:34:15 pm »
I always see the Logitech Wingman suggested as an alternative to expensive analog arcade flight sticks, and I was wondering if anyone on the board has tried one of these:

I was browsing at a local Gamestop while on break today, and they had two new in the box.  The one with a 2005 copyright on the box was $14.99, while the one with the 2003 copyright was $4.99.  Of course, I grabbed the cheap one.  With any luck, the only real changes are in the accompanying software, rather than the hardware.

For the most part, I really only want it for Nightstriker (The PS1 and SegaCD versions that I've imported don't have analog control, which kinda kills it), Thunderblade, and Afterburner, so I didn't want to blow a lot of cash.

If nobody else has an opinion, I'll probably write up a review myself once I've had a chance to try it out.
