WTB 6-pin molex connector
« on: June 20, 2006, 11:41:01 am »
I have the following trackball...

http://www.happcontrols.com/trackballs/560110xx.htm

...and would like to keep the existing AMOA harness intact (i.e. not hack it off).  I need a 6-pin female molex (with metal inserts) to plug into the existing connector on the factory harness.

Does anyone have one of these connectors they could sell?

If not, try Radio Shack...they sell just that side separately, with pins...

For my trackball, the radio shack molex did not match up with the existing plug. I just went ahead and bought a matching set, and switched out the existing plug for a new one.
Good luck

Thank you for the warning on the Radio Shack plug!  I would not have expected more than one version of a 6-pin female molex connector.  The male/female combo seems like the way to go in this case.

oh no, molex pins come in a TON of different types. The astro city cabinet's being the hardest for me to find. I have a shop local to me called HSC and they have just about every type you could think of....

...except the right size of the Astro City type :(
