Mala not saving options?

I have the latest version of Mala and for some reason, certain options are not being saved. For instance, I turn on wrap game lists and skip disclaimer, but when I open up the option menu again, those items are unchecked. What am I doing wrong?

Possible things to look at:
- I understand some versions of mame won't let you skip disclaimer??. Try an older one.
- Is your mame.ini and/or mala.ini set as 'read only' ??

Wild guesses really.  I could not re-create these probs on my pc

That's a distinct possibility - running Mame 105 on that machine. I'm not sure how that would affect the wrapping on the list, unless I'm trying to make both changes at the same time...
