Just got back from shopping and found something cool at the Wal-Mart in Cary, NC. They have sets of 2 10" round "neon" (actually CCFL) lights and sets of 2 ovals for 6"x9" speakers on clearance for $5. It comes with one standard cigarette plug for power. These were made to go around the speaker boxes in cars, but I picked up a set of two for my MP3 jukebox:

I just have to figure out how/where to mount them on/in the cab so it looks good. I'll probably mount two of them (if they fit) under the CP in front. The 6x9 ones might look good on a MAME/jukebox cab that uses 6x9 speakers. They come with a handy little control box that you can set the "neons" to always on or pulse to sound/music.
They had about 25? of them and they are at the end cap near checkout. The tubes themselves are encased in a plastic tube, but when I got mine home one was broken sop I have to go exchange it. I did try the other one and it worked and looked great. The lights are bright blue in color.
I was trying to think of a phrase I could put on the gameroom wall and incorporate them - like "Cool Arcade" or something and have the two Os be the neon lights. Couldn't come up with anything though. (yet)
ah - found some on ebay for reference:
